The Picture Gallery presents us with a sample selection of the
urban and architectural heritage of Vic, which takes us straight
to the town’s most symbolic buildings and sites or those
of special relevance, given their condition as points of reference
for the social dynamics of Vic and Osona.
Thus,
we will find mention of the Roman temple, dating from the 2nd
Century, or the curious “Sucre” chimney, witness to
industrial modernism, today converted to a zone providing wide-reaching
services.
It
is, therefore, an itinerary which, respecting the tradition and
authenticity of the pictures, incorporates a graphic vision of
a modern Vic heading towards the future.
Like
any living document, it will gradually receive new visions and
views of the dynamics generated by the day to day living which
are constantly renewing the town’s iconography.
